At Langdale Pre-School we show your little angels how to become little learners, preparing them for a seamless transition into primary education. By focusing only on children aged 3 and 4 we can better prepare your children for the classroom than a traditional day-care nursery.

What makes us different?

Langdale Pre-School is part of an established group of independent schools with establishments of education and childcare in Blackpool, Cardiff and Nottingham. We are professional educators with high standards. We understand more than most the difference having the best of starts can make.

Our unique ‘Langdale Little Learners’ programme is underpinned by the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework (EYFS). We work with children on an individual basis to ensure by the time they leave us to join full-time primary education they are equipped with a solid foundation on which to build.

We not only help your children to learn but most importantly teach them how to learn, routine and structures, classroom behaviours, social skills, language skills and concentration. Whilst you can relax with the knowledge that your child being set an excellent example, your children will be having too much to realise how much they have learned.

At Langdale Pre-School we use dance, drama, music, audio, video, ICT and traditional teaching methods from a fully qualified teacher to help our 3 and 4 year old make sense of the world around them. As we do not cater for under 3’s staff are able to spend more time on structured learning and development activities and children on an individual basis. We are specialists in quality pre-school care and development which is what sets us apart from traditional day care nurseries in Blackpool. Like a classroom our pre-school limit is only 28 children. Langdale is the choice parents seeking not just seeking childcare but quality childcare which is why earlier enrolment well before a childs third birthday is advised.
